Mason Proper – Safe For The Time Being – Off of the Olly Oxen Free release, somewhat off-kilter pop that can’t help but make your feet start to sweat and your nose start to itch.
Lee Curtiss – Vibrant Member – Menacing voice over techno. As if you’re walking down a long and dark narrow hallway, 300ft below the street. The air is damp, you hear unrecognizable squeaks and you have no idea where you are going.
Tim Green – Exercise – This would be the perfect soundtrack to an instructional Tae Bo infomerical, but I can’t help but think about a friend with her former dreadlock extensions dancing as if to systematically remove all of the glitter from her facial region. It is funky.
Mark Kozelek – Send In The Clowns (Live) – A great song about when you have too many clown paintings in your house. Happy Sad.
