My last post was about Muxtape which everyone is raving about including my dentist and librarian. Well, I came across one from Thom Yorke, or someone claiming to be him, and it is filled with a number of unreleased and exclusive never before heard tracks. Check it out.

Here’s another one I found which might have a broader audience, Catbird Muxtape

Third

Posted by admin on Mar 7th, 2008

I can’t post the name of this band, or the album name as I will be told to take it down.

It comes out at the end of next month.

Let’s just say that this is their third proper album and it has taken 10 years to release it. They defined a genre of music (trip-hop) along with Tricky and Massive Attack and I believe they all hailed from the same area of England, Bristol.

This is the third track, called….you can look it up

ENJOY!

SURPRISE SONG

This Saturday At Fabric in London

Posted by admin on Dec 4th, 2007

If you live over on the right side of the Atlantic, of course , that’s if only if you are facing the world right side up, please make sure to head over to Fabric this Saturday for what is surely going to be a finger-pricking good time. How can you go wrong with Deadbeat, Luke Slater, Alexi Delano, M.A.N.D.Y. and ISSST. The good people at Fabric have informed me that M.A.N.D.Y.’s Fabric 38 release will be out in January. Now, if they could only get the Vanilla Ice and Kid Rock releases a go.

Goodbye Stylus Magazine

Goodbye to Stylus Magazine.
One of the best sources for music and film.
Great lists as well.

Also, check out Aidin Vaziri’s review of one of the most anticipated releases in the last decade. He is the best writer/critic from the San Francisco Chronicle.
